Dr. Robert Smith Jr. is a renowned preacher, scholar, and professor who served over 25 years as Professor of Christian Preaching at Beeson Divinity School, where he held the Charles T. Carter Baptist Chair of Divinity. A former pastor for 20 years, he earned his PhD while shepherding New Mission Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati. Smith is the author of Doctrine That Dances, recognized as one of the most influential preaching books in the past 25 years, and has taught and preached across the globe.
