A Tentative Timeline

Lots of people have been asking what our timeline is and what will be happening along each step of the way. Our tentative timeline is flexible and entirely dependent on the Lord. Please feel free to follow along with us in prayer. Here are some prayer points:

January 2019 - A weekly Community Group has been established that meets at our home on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8pm. This is a time when we gather together to encourage each other and to do spiritual good to one another. We open our Bibles together, sing a couple of songs, pray for one another, and seek to meet the needs of anyone lacking within the group. If you are interested in Grace Harbor Church New Bedford, this would be a good place to come and see what we are about.

April - October 2019 - We will be working together to make necessary repairs and renovations to a historic church building in the city center of New Bedford. There will be several mission teams from all over the country taking part in this endeavor. We will also do a couple of outreach events at a nearby city park during the summer for children.

October - December 2019 - If the church building renovation is on schedule, we will be able to begin using the building for different functions in preparation for April 2020.

December - April 2020 - Again, Lord willing, we will begin to hold Sunday evening services every week. This time will be characterized by prayer, the meeting of needs, singing of songs, a brief sermon, and the Lord’s Supper.

April 12, 2020 - Our tentative public start of Sunday morning services is planned for Easter Sunday.
